He said at the moment, the portal platform only catered to business-to-business market only.

"We plan to include business-to-consumer and consumer-to-consumer market soon," he said.

Zamzamzairani said the portal was to facilitate "open market" business trading with features such as embedded trade matching engine, integrated business directory, cataloguing engine, business-to-business and business-to-consumer payment gateway.

It is equipped with the customers and products' details and is all set to do online business once they sign up as member, he said.

TM group chief executive officer, Datuk Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa, said currently, 30 SMEs and SMIs had signed up.

"mybizpoint is designed to fit mass business penetration, especially small and medium-sized businesses, both local and foreign companies," he told reporters after the launch of mybizpoint portal platform held in conjunction with the Small and Medium Industries Development Corp's Annual Showcase 2009 here Wednesday.

The fee is RM450 per annum for single package pricing.

He said mybizpoint did not require participating organisations to invest in hardware, software or continuous upgrades.

There are about 470,000 SMEs in the country.Zamzamzairani said it was crucial for the SMIs and SMEs to expand their business horizons and presence to the regional and even the global market.
